Providing a place where the community can gather to appreciate history is a big part of the Foundation’s mission. The House hosts many free events throughout the year that build community and enhance the quality of life in our neighborhood, including outdoor concerts, historical talks, garden tours, and more.

Music for a Purpose Concert Coming Up Sunday, April 27th at 3:00pm
We are thrilled to welcome Louisville native and founder of Music for a Purpose Julia Cash back to the PD House for a concert benefiting local charity, The Louisville Nature Center. The upcoming concert will feature Dvorak’s “Dumky” Trio, Beethoven “Spring” Sonata, and the music of Sebastian Chang! PLUS – attendees will enjoy the sounds of a piano in the PD House for the first time in many years.
