Carriage House tour of Crescent Hill

On Sunday, June 11th, there will be a Carraige House tour of Crescent Hill. It will be held from 12 Noon to 3 pm, and begins with a short presentation of carriage house history by architect and historian Steve Wiser, FAIA, at the Peterson Dumesnil House, 301 S. Peterson Avenue.
A walking tour will then take place to view several carriage houses in the surrounding neighborhood. There will also be a talk by Cletus Blandford, a retired fireman, on historic firehouses. Attendees will also receive a complimentary copy to the book ‘Beautiful Crescent Hill’ that was originally published in the early 1900s.
This tour will involve walking and use of stairways. Refreshments will be provided at the end of the tour. There is a limited number of attendees allowed on this tour.
